Obituary
A man well-travelled, who had been to the Great Pyramids, bowed in supplication at the Old Temple of Jerusalem and had been deafened by the roar of the mighty Niagara falls.
A man of fine courage, he was at the forefront of the Irish war of Independence and saw the tail end of the War of Oranges. A man whose luck followed him more times than he could count, surviving the black death and the Bengal famine.
He was a man who never left the wheelchair, his birthright, yet he lived a million lives through his cherished books.
