Resentment

Seeping through smoothly

A lining of bitterness

Couched in saccharine

Brimming to surface

Wheezing and gasping for breath

Old not forgotten

The constant shadow

Staining every happiness

Brimming and swirling

Pricey antidote

Simple sounds and sentences

Impossible Pride

Envy gurgles forth

Gripping in a wild frenzy

The raw wound festers
