Poetry 2014 Longlist, Simran Kaur

ALLUSION IN SILENCE

As I stance to a windowpane
My earnest sight glimpse over a sole lane
The revel of shimmering rain pearls
Flicks on my grimace through casting grille
I do wait each early evening with unbound undying thrill
To have your one glance of trance
I be there tirelessly with endurance
Little moments with you makes life living worthwhile
Solitary evades away in a while
I never have said this to you...
Perhaps, I shall never
I wish you could listen my words in silence
Words, my heart speaks when you go away
With Adieu cadence -
Allusion in silence urges...
