After sending your entry kindly like our Facebook Page and add us on Facebook and Twitter. By doing this you are giving us permission to tag you during the contest. NOTE: No photo identity will be required but we insist that you provide complete address and phone number in the submission form.

We might announce more contests on the Facebook page at a later date outside of these contests.

All Submissions are sent via Word Document (available for download starting March 1, 2016) to escribespublications@yahoo.com.

All entries for one section should be in a single document, for instance all the Short Story entries should be copy-pasted under the details of the form, with the number of the entries and the name of the section mentioned in the form.

Submissions for each section should be made in a separate document file and the email subject line must indicate the section to which the entry is being submitted. Although we do try to include all entries that we receive, we might miss out your entry if it is received before submission date or the submission is an inline text in the mail.

No image should be included with the story/poem either in the document or with the mail.

Microfiction Contest

55 Fiction: 55 Words

Drabble: 100 Words

Twist And Turn: Is just an experiment in writing. You can choose any Bollywood or Hollywood movie (it would be better if it is a plot-dead or a brain turner movie,) and give its plot your unique twist. The story should be presented in a regular short story style and not as a screenplay. You can change the plot or characters but some semblance to the referred movie should remain for comparison. You can choose a Hindi movie but the submission has to be in English. No movies in other language will be accepted.
